The Management of Benue State University, Makurdi, wishes to notify all Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) aspirants that participated in the examination and registered for admission into Benue State University (BSU), Makurdi, for the 2023/2024 Academic year that, the University post-UTME Screening Form is out, therefore, all applicants who secured 150 points or higher in the JAMB Examination are eligible to enroll in the Post UTME Screening of BSU by simply logging in to portal.bsum.edu.ng. Also, Aspirants who did not select BSU as their first choice and scored up to 150 but want to change should purchase the change of institution from the Joint Admission And Matriculation Board and apply.
All Applicants are to pay a non-refundable PUTME screening registration fee of two thousand naira (N2,000.00) only to register for the screening.
How Much Is BSU Post-UTME Form
The Benue State University, Makurdi (BSU) Post UTME Form Cost Two Thousand Naira (2000). Candidates are requested to create and print out a pre-payment slip from the portal and proceed to the bank for payment while the money can be paid through Debit Cards too, Applicants who wish to pay through quick teller must first sign up using www.quickteller/bsum.com if that’s their first-time-making transaction with it. Payment could be done in four ways
i) Online payment
ii) Cash payment via Banks
iii) Payment through quick teller
1v) Payment via debit cards.
Eligibility And Requirement
1 Applicant who did not choose Benue State University as their 1st choice can only apply if they change institution through the Joint Admission And Matriculation Board.
2 Candidates must secure up to 150 in the 2023/2024 joint Admission And Matriculation Board examination.
3 Aspirants younger than 16 years will not be considered.
4 Candidates’ O-level results must attain a minimum of 5 credit passes with Mathematics and the English Language included.
5 Aspirants’ phone numbers and e-mail should be active.
6 Failure to appear on the screening day makes the candidates ineligible.
Procedure To Apply To BSU
1 First, log in to the Benue State University Admission Portal via www.portal.bsum.edu.ng and select the Admission icon.
2 Select the PUTME/DIRECT ENTRY LINK and fill in your Joint Admission And Matriculation Board Registration Number.
3 Verify your details and select PROCEED to create and print out the pre-payment reference slip
4 Select the payment option you want to make use of. For candidates using the ‘Cash payment method’, visit any bank branch with the pre-payment reference slip printout and pay through”COLLEGE PAY”
For Online Payment, click on the online button, select the card type, and supply the necessary details.
Candidates paying through ATM should walk up to any ATM stand, select Quickteller, select pay bills, and provide the RRR number. 04225101 should be used as the payment code.
Applicants using Quickteller should select quick teller, fill in the RRR number, Enter the card details, and select pay. Applicants who have never made a transaction with Quickteller must first sign in via www.quickteller.bsum.edu.ng to be able to complete the transaction.
5 Thereafter applicants are to log in to the portal again and complete their details, upload the necessary documents
6 Submit and print two copies of the Notification slip.
Applicants seeking admission to the law department but who have a JAMB score range of 150-199 will be given admission into another department in the faculty of arts, Social Sciences, Management Science, and Education. While those that applied for medicine and surgery, Nursing may be given admission into the Faculty of Science.
