When checking NECO Results, candidates can also check their SSCE, BECE, and NCEE results by purchasing tokens. The token(s) can be shared with candidates, parents, schools, organizations, or any person who wishes to view the candidate’s results.
How To Get the NECO Result Token
To check your NECO result you must have the NECO result token. To purchase this token candidates must first of all create an account with NECO via the NECO Portal. If you don’t have one, click on the “Create an Account” or “Sign Up” option. Provide the required information, including your name, email address, and a secure password. To Verify your e-mail click on the link sent to you.

Can I Use Neco To Study Abroad?
NECO is not widely accepted by most European countries thus its relevance is not really pronounced when it comes to using it to file an application to study abroad. Although this might be possible it must be used in combination with other results if accepted.
How To Register For NECO
- Visit the NECO registration portal at www.neco.gov.ng
- Click the “Register” button and select the examination type (SSCE Internal or External).
- Complete the form with the needed information, e.g., Name, D.O.B, and Address.
- Upload a passport photograph and a valid means of identification.
- Select your preferred examination center and subject combination.
- Submit your application and print out the registration slip.

Can I Combine My WAEC And NECO Results?
Absolutely yes. There is no harm in combining your West African Examination Council WAEC and National Examination Council (NECO) results. Students who have issues in a particular subject in either WAEC or NECO can easily combine the two results when applying to a university.
